Looking to add Prizma into Google Tag Manager?

You’ve come to the right place. The guide below provides step by step instructions on to configure the tag with Prizma so you can start showing videos on your site.

Prerequisite: Please have your Partner ID on hand: PB-XXXXXX. If you don't have one, please contact us as support@prizma.tv

Step 1: Choose Container

Log into Google Tag Manager and choose your Container Name.

Step 2: Create a Tag

In the container tab, click on Tags on the left hand side and then click on New.

Step 3: Select Custom HTML Tag

Under Choose Product, select Custom HTML Tag located at the bottom.

Step 4: Insert Prizma Script

Under Configure Tag, copy and paste the following Js snippets into the box. Please replace PB-XXXXXXX with your Prizma Partner ID. If you need your Partner ID, contact us

<script src="https://cdn.prizma.tv/widget/prizma-widget.js"></script>
<script>prizma({partnerId: "PB-XXXXXXX", id: "div-insert"});</script>

Important: If you are embedding more than one Prizma widget on the same page, you must add a copy of the second line for each widget. In each line, update the 'id:' parameter with the id of the container 'div' tag. The id here maps to the div that will contain the prizma widget.

Step 5: Create an Event

Under Fire On, if you would like the widget to trigger across your entire site, choose All Pages. However, if you only want the widget to trigger on specific sections of your site, choose Some Pages and specify trigger conditions.

Questions? Please refer to the Google Tag Manager trigger support page on how to create conditions.

Step 6: Save Tag

Once your triggers have been set up, click on Save Tag.

Step 7: Publish Tag

At the very top right, click on Publish, verify changes are correct, and then choose Publish Now.

Step 8: Specify Widget Placement

Please insert the code below within the <body> tag of the page where you would like Prizma widget to appear. Make sure the id in step 4 matches the id here. Keep in mind, if you are embedding more than one widget on the page, please insert this div for each placement.

<div id="prizma-widget"></div>

Step 9: Verify

Verify if the widget is rendering correctly on your website. If so, then you're good to go! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to support@prizma.tv. We are always here to help.

Optional: Widget Customization

If you want to customize the look and feel of the widget, you can do so by adding additional parameters in the tag. More information on customization can be found here
